PBW is made by Five Star Chemicals.

It can be re-used for only a 12 hour period… So the manufacturer says. :) I have found that I can re-use the solution many times. [See disclaimer](## Disclaimer and Legal things).

Measurements for general use @ 65°C

  • 40 ml per 5 liters.
  • 8 ml per liter.
  • 6 detergent caps (60 ml) per 8 gallons.

Usage Instructions for fermenters, kegs, buckets

  1. Rinse off as much as possible with water, use a brush or cloth if required.
  2. Add the warm solution and leave for at least 4 hours.
  3. Rinse.

Usage Instructions for circulation

  1. Circulate with warm water for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Circulate with cleaning solution for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Circulate with warm water for at least 5 minutes.
  • This is based on my experience of using the WARM solution in my home brewery!
