All Go
All Go Cleaner
All Go was suggested to me by a local brewer in Chch. According to them and the manufacturer it is used by a lot of the commercial breweries in New Zealand.
The reason I decided to find something other than PBW was the cost. Imported cleaning materials are quite expensive in NZ, so using something local made sense.
I have found that I can re-use the solution many times. See disclaimer.
WARNING
THIS CAN KILL YOU! It is highly corrosive and toxic. This is a very basic material, so you need an acid to counter it. I always have a 2L bottle of vinegar nearby.
Use of PPE while using this is highly recommended.
Contact the manufacturer to get a safety data sheet.

- Heat to 60C
Usage
- If possible, start heating the diluted All Go before the rest of the steps
- Dump out any residual content
- Rinse with water and try to remove as much residue as possible
- Any hard or stubborn residue should be removed with a soft cloth. Scrubs can be used, but not on plastic
- Ensure that all taps and valves are closed
- Add the hot diluted All Go
- Leave for 10 to 20 minutes. Pump or stir occasionally if possible
- (Personal Choice) If the diluted mix is still clear, transfer the content to storage containers (See disclaimer)
- Discard the diluted mix
- Rinse the vessel
Re-Use
I have found that the diluted mix can be stored and re-used. If the mix is still quite clear after use I will store it for re-use. The moment it is not clear I will discard it.
I discard the mix if it has been used six times or for three brew days.
